VIDEO: School Choice and Military Families

We often message school choice to minorities, immigrants, low-income families, and special needs and neurodivergent students. Those are VERY important, but do you know we don’t talk about often in the conversation? Military families! They deserve the best education that works for them instead being stuck in a government assigned school.

As someone who benefited from school choice, I know every child deserve the best education that WORKS for them. Every child is different, and that is beautiful! 

Throughout my time as Miss Fort Eisenhower USA, I have been able to meet with different schools and families to ask them about school choice and how they want education to work for them. I also cannot wait to meet with Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp’s office to talk more about this. Passing school choice was one of his priorities this year, and I hope to work with him and his office, and the state legislature to expand Education Savings Accounts even more!
