NEW OPINION: There is nothing ‘hateful’ about parents fighting for their children.

My latest opinion piece for The Lion about how there is nothing “hateful” about fighting for children in schools.

Parental rights groups such as Parents Defending Education and Moms for Liberty were recently added to the left-wing Southern Poverty Law Center’s “hate list.”

There is nothing hateful about challenging ideologies in schools parents believe cause harm to children, not just academically, but also physically, mentally and emotionally.

“The report moves from the accusation that Moms of Liberty “hijacks” school board meetings to vaguely tying these groups to “those who opposed school desegregation” during the civils rights movement.

There is no acknowledgement of sexual materials in classrooms, how schools are keeping parents in the dark about their children’s sexual identity, or even how students are receiving life-altering drugs without parental consent.”
