VIDEOS: Brings Issues Back to the States

First and foremost, sometimes I look at these debates as a way to stir drama. Whether it is a Republican or Democratic debate, it is drama. It is a reality television show with no ending. The media makes it seem as if these candidates hate or dislike each other, but the reality is they just have disagreements with each other rather than disliking each other.

However, I would love to hear more of these candidates discuss how they will return more power to the states, especially when it comes to education. Do not get me wrong, I absolutely love what they have done and have enjoyed listening to their solutions, but the reality is they need to encourage states to take action instead of making everything a federal issue.

If your goal is to get rid of the Department of Education, it would make it rather difficult to make education a federal issue, so I always am wondering how they would push for education if there is not a DOE. Even if they did find a way, including through Congress, they still should not be involved with education issues unless they are focused on returning power to the states.
